This agreement concerns the sale of the following:

Buyer agrees and binds him/herself to take good and reasonable care of dog; it shall not be kept tied, allowed to roam unsupervised, or be carried loose in a truck bed. Buyer also agrees to keep dog current on vaccinations as recommended by their veterinarian, perform coat and cail care routinely and to keep this animal at a reasonable weight, which for this dog should not exceed _________#’s. Buyer agrees to give dog reasonable house time daily; it shall not be helpt solely as an outdoor or “kennel” dog.
Buyer agrees this animal is not purchased for breeding and to have it spayed/neutered between the following dates: ___________________________ and to mail Breeder a copy of spay/neuter certificate at the above address.
As this pup is not sold for breeding, it will be registered under limited registration, papers to be furnished to the Buyer after trial period complete, when purchase price paid in full and as soon as they are available.
Buyer agrees never to dispose of this dog in a pound, animal shelter, or to a commercial dealer. It will not be submitted for research purposes unless first okayed by Breeder in writing. Buyer understands Breeder will always be concerned with dog’s welfare for its entire life and will always be willing to answer questions or help to work through problems with training, etc. that may arise. Should Buyer at some point be unable to keep dog Breeder is willing to help with its relocation and is to be notified.
Should Buyer not comply with the above outlined requirements, it is understood that ownership and possession of this animal reverts to Breeder, with NO recompense to Buyer.
It is strongly recommended that Buyer enroll pup in and complete a basic obedience class session (usually 8-10 weeks long) when pup is 5-13 months old. Buyer understands successfully completing such a course will enhance relationship with the dog and minimize potential for obedience/dominance problems. Should Buyer mail a copy of certificate of successful graduation and note from instructor showing 100% attendance of the classes to the above address, Seller will refund $__________.
Seller guarantees puppy against any illness or temperament irregularities for ten days after sale and it is recommended that Buyer have puppy examined by their veterinarian during this time period. Buyer may return the puppy any time during this time period for a full refund, except if dog is lost or accidentally killed during trial period, there will be no refund. If dog is injured during trial period it is returnable for purchase price minus cost of repairs required.
If this dog develops any health problem that deems the dog unable to live its life comfortably as a household pet without significant surgery or ongoing medical intervention prior to the age of 5 years, breeder will refund UP TO $_____________ upon veterinary documentation, exact monetary amount at discretion of breeder based on severity of problem. A second opinion may be required by breeder and no refund will be due if problem is determined to be cause all or in part by negligence, outright obesity, abuse, improper diet or accident.
